Just as the title suggests a 2018 first take of a mixture of genre’s, I know not much different than what is mainly on my station but trying to pair in some cases different genres with similar types of songs of other genre’s from different musical eras.

I accidentally laid some items on my music server keyboard and couldn’t regain control so initiated a shutdown then boot from the server chassis then updated the Web server and server that has my IceCast stream plus some WordPress modules while awaiting my music server to come fully up.

A plethora of updates this weekend and tonight. Over the weekend I updated my Windows 10 Workstation, laptop and gaming system. I actually had to roll back the gaming system due to some flickering on my LG 60PB6650 which I’ll look deeper into when I have more time. Tonight I updated my web server, and my system that has my IceCast stream relay system both run Linux Centos 7. I also updated my SAM Broadcaster streaming software to the latest version as well as my WordPress CMS/Blog to the latest version and Fedora 26 Linux workstation.

I’m sitting in my physical kitchen logged into my musical kitchen upstairs in my computer lab putting together some sounds for “Snakeice’s House of Beats” for you and also to listen to while I do some work in an around the house.
These are some of the musical artists dishes I will be serving up during this mix that will go for about 6 – 8 hours if not more then I will let my great automated DJ to bring in a nice mix that is just as powerful just not manually setup like this next several hours.
I will even have a little lighthearted somewhat comedic dishes from the likes of Bobby Jimmy and Biz Markie.
Jazz will also be served by Tim Bowman, Euge Groove, he some slow jams by Mary J. Blige, Lana Del Rey, some old school Hip-Hop by Stetsasonic, Public Enemy, Connie, and of course some present artists like Post Malone, Damian Marley Jr., P!nk and Jason Derulo.

Music server OS 2012 R2 has been successfully updated along with the SAM Broadcaster application to the latest version with the IceCast Centos 7 server that runs IceCast and a host of other applications. I have also updated the Web Server Centos 7 OS . Now I just have the WordPress software to update.
