Moving the music server down in the rack for better cooling so music stream will be down temporarily. Saturday Refreshing Eclecticism plus Lot’s of Prince
Oh yes the Saturday after some scattered thunderstorms here in Northern California and its very refreshing outdoors right after the rains and as usual I have a musical set of music that breaks from the usual paradigms. I refer to this of as “Snakeice’s House of Beats” Gumbo Mixes”. Should you be a one or two genre loving person you will hear what you like here and there but if you have a wide range of tastes your musical l samplings will truly be sated here.
Also a tribute this weekend o the Purple Prince as I will try to have Prince songs up and down the line up almost every hour if not more!
Who else besides Prince will be in this mix? Madonna, Jaheim, Gwen Stefani, Chris Brown, Domo Genesis, Adrian Younge, K. Michelle, Herb Alpert, Tweet, The Gap Band and so much more!

Music Stream Server and Blog Updates Now Hard Set Sounds then Night Time Mellow
Was time to do some OS server security updates and also went to the newest WordPress release for my main blog\CMS software.
Going to move into a little hard core, wild set and then will go mellow.
What artists? Well a little Brotha Lynch Hung, ICP, Ice T, Jungle Brothers, Tech N9Ne, Grandmaster Melle Mel on the hard tip and then some Force MD’s, Club Noveau, Adrian Younge and some others!
Icecast Stream Back Online
I was updating the OS on my server that runs quite a few processes and one of the processes was the Icecast stream I tunnel the stream through that is not on the same server as my Shoutcast or audio library. I didn’t realize this until I was headed to bed tonight and wanted to listen over Icecast to my music stream.
Well downloaded and configured the stream made sure firewall let proper ports through, matched up usernames and passwords and I’m back to streaming over Icecast!

First Hand Picked Set 2016
Hit my first gym work out of the day earlier and of course that was my first real set of songs that I laid out prior to hitting that morning work out but this is a continuation of that set since I just added more songs in the queue.
The way my music stream works is that I have some scripts that pick random songs I have weighted out of certain buckets of music. I drop in frequently from anywhere I may be in the world and at times setup a certain selection of music. I don’t always announce when I setup a special set of music but other times I do like now!
