Set up the typical mixed genre Snakeice’s House of Beats type mix with a series of songs per genre but with mixed eras for this cold Thursday evening. Towards the end of the night it will all be dedicated to the smoot and mellow sounds.

The type of artists are Sean Paul & Tove Lo, DVSN, Sweet Sensation, Prince, Last Poets, Celtic Woman, Sam Smith and Tony Tribe a very eclectic yet cohesive sound. None of that one genre to listen to mess!

I don’t always post but I’m always throwing in special sets from time to time.

If you are looking for a different sound and can’t stand single genre music lists this is the place for you. I’m going to have R&B, Hip-Hop, Classic rock, Metal Rock, Reggae, Country, Pop, Electronic Techno Music from the present going back as far as recorded music started.

Going to have fast, slow mellow and wild!

Artists like Mozzy, Pusha T, Beyonce, Miley Cyrus, Florence And The Machine, King Garbage, Russell Dickerson, Jake Scott, Cypress Hill, Shenseea, Hollie Cook, well you got an idea its all over and that’s a small sampling.

Late Night Friday Crazy Then Mellow

Some of the artists list will be Lil Kim, Valerie June, Zapp and Roger, Mellow Man Ace, Metallica, Young Thug, Tinashe, George Benson etc.

What a nice mix of genre’s who wants just one genre or one era of music?!

Last Sunday of 2021 Snakeice House of Beats Afternoon Early Evening Sounds

The last set of music for a Sunday in 2021 and it will be of course be multi-layered with different genres an beats of various eras. This is the “Snakeice House of Beats Gumbo Mix” a set of rock and roll, old school R&B, into Reggae, pop music, for upbeat sections and jazz, soul, blues, even country for some mellow moments. 

Going to have something to work out (what I will initially be doing) to or just bop around the house with plus some laid-back tunes. I will mix in quite a bit on the fly as I hear certain songs and think of something that fits just right with them. 

A sample of artist are: Alicia Keys, Boo Ya Tribe, Bob Marley, Chevelle, Just Ice, Rhye, Lil ½ Dead, Arlo Parks etc.

A Friday of Eclectic Old School and a Few new Songs

Trying to get back into the groove of things while I plow through some household chores while not feeling optimal with some old school a few new tunes mixed in ending up with a nice mellow mixture of jazz, R&B, blues, rock and pop with drops of reggae.

I updated my Windows OS music server that plays my mixes and my Linux system that runs my music relays plus a few other systems now time to be balanced and do some non-technical clean up and need to hear some tunes

Some of the artist that will be in this mix are YG, O’Jays, Ella Mai, Nickelback, Bootsy Collins, Darren Rahn, WC, Kylie Minogue so you can see it will be a very eclectic mix but I will try and make it flow.

Blasting off with some strong steady beats then moving to high energy for about 2 hours or so then it’s back to the normal flow unless otherwise noted. I’m going to do some light treadmill work but you do whatever you feel with it!

Mixing it Up in the Musical Kitchen

I’m sitting in my physical kitchen logged into my musical kitchen upstairs in my computer lab putting together some sounds for “Snakeice’s House of Beats” for you and also to listen to while I do some work in an around the house.

 

These are some of the musical artists dishes I will be serving up during this mix that will go for about 6 – 8 hours if not more then I will let my great automated DJ to bring in a nice mix that is just as powerful just not manually setup like this next several hours.

I will even have a little lighthearted somewhat comedic dishes from the likes of Bobby Jimmy and Biz Markie.

Jazz will also be served by Tim Bowman, Euge Groove, he some slow jams by Mary J. Blige, Lana Del Rey, some old school Hip-Hop by Stetsasonic, Public Enemy, Connie, and of course some present artists like Post Malone, Damian Marley Jr., P!nk and Jason Derulo.

    Enjoying this late October Saturday with a typical mixed genre Snakeice’s House of Beats handpicked set of music of all recorded music generations., No this will not be G-Rated or even PG-Rated but something above that for some songs but most will be PG-Rated.

    Going to have some nice hard beats with artists like , Too Short, Kendrick Lamar, Nate Dog, Eve and others.

    A little dance cub hype like Fergie, Ed Sheeran, Tom Browne, Paula Abdul.

    Of course will take you on he slow jam tip with Trey Songz, Michael McDonald, Seal, Ready for the World then just some set back and roll with it by artists like Prince, Eagles, Norman Brown, Taj Mahal & Keb’ Mo’, Stephen Ragga Marley.

    Upgrades Galore

    Upgrades Galore

    Tonight I updated the OS of my workstations, virtual servers,  physical servers, streaming software SAM Broadcasting from Spacial Audio and WordPress. My I started with my workstations and then my virtual servers including my Centos 7 web server that I run my blog on.

    Then moved on to update my streaming media server which is W2012 R2. Right after that I updated my SAM Broadcaster software and my WordPress blogging\CMS software.

    With SAM Broadcaster I also verified all my songs, backed up my database.

      Hot Spread of July Summer Music

      What’s hot about this deliberate musical spread i’m about to lay out for you is that it will take you back to the old hip-hop days, through some old school rock, some funk with a few spots of smoother sounds. Will then hit you with more current tunes of all genres and move it back and forth on you until late Saturday night and then I may let it go on my scripts again which has its own special spice I mixed in that keeps it going 24 hours and surprises me all the time.

      A very Snakeice House of Beats vibe!
