Needed to update Windows Server 2019 where my music resides and plays SAM Broadcaster to the latest OS security patches. The Linux systems the IceCast and ShoutCast music relays reside on didn’t get updated at this time.
Back up and streaming as I post this!
A few updates where due in the music stream so decided to update the Windows 2019 data center OS that hosts the music application Sam Broadcaster and the music stream relay OS on Linux Fedora that hosts IceCast and ShoutCast streams with the stunnel as well.
So far everything looks good and will be up in about 15 minutes if not sooner from the time of this post.
That time once again updating my W2019 Datacenter streaming server along with my Fedora 34 IceCast\Shoutcast streams that connect to the streaming server to serve up the music. I shall be back online in a bit back streaming music.
Installed a plethora of Windows 2019 Data Center updates on the music server that hosts the music stream. I also decided to update the system with the IceCast and ShoutCast relays which is a Linux Fedora 34 system.
I started with the update of the W2019 Datacenter server I run the Sam Broadcasting software on and has my MySQL database that it utilizes on it and then started patches and security updates of my Fedoras 34 system that handles the relays of ShoutCast and IceCast. I have already updated my Fedora web server earlier in the week along with my WordPress to the latest versions along with the themes and plugins.
Rebooting Streaming Server After Patches Update I did an update of my Windows 2019 Data Center system, and I am performing a reboot that will temporarily interrupt music streaming.
Performing OS maintenance patching on my music streaming and music relay servers. One server is running Linux Fedora and the other is running the application and database for the music I play along with hosting the music files.
Will be rebooting and then bringing the servers right back up after the patching and verification services are running.
Doing some needed OS patch updates on the Windows 2019 data center system that I have my music streaming application on and I will be back up shortly!

I updated the streaming server relays on my Centos 8 Linux system that hosts the IceCast and ShoutCast relays for my streaming server, so connections were down for about 15 -20 minutes. I’m now performing some security updates on the W2019 Data Center server that has my Sam Broadcaster Pro software that provides my music line up to pipe into my music relays and will reboot that soon as well.
