Well I was working on getting my Linux workstation’s IPMI working properly and then see if its working in the manner I wanted when I decide I may as well start the W2019 OS updates on my streaming server. After 3 reboots I brought up my streaming software Spacial Audio’s SAM Broadcaster noticed a new version and decide to update that as well.
Another nice late morning getting my domain updated and future proofed. More to come as I will be updating my HPE C7000 Flex modules soon as well.
Performing some Streaming Server updates and will be back up and kicking again after the updates are complete.

I have made the appropriate link changes to my site pages to
correspond to these changes. I also performed updates needed to the stream hash
going back to Shoutcast.
I also updated the music stream software to hopefully prevent the infrequent times when two songs try to play at once, so I will be keeping a tight watch on the music play the next few days.
I had some issues with the software that I use to stream my music and it I would start the stream and it would quit after it played two songs. Well after quite a few different changes I narrowed down the issue by downgrading the version of software that I had been using for the last month.
I will keep an eye on this and keep it at this stable version as I test some other changes I will be making to the site hopefully soon. The next site update will be very extensive and more user friendly so stay tuned! For now the music is up and streaming just fine!
I’m back after that brief OS update and banging hard but soon will throw a few slow jams on …..maybe. 😉
Once again installing some OS updates so I have to stop the music server applications and reboot but I will be back up shortly once again pumping music out the Internet pipe.
