Moving Music & Web the Servers to UPS

Tonight as part of my computer room reconfigure I brought down and moved the web and music server both to a UPS I installed and in 19″ rack cabinet that is about 6′ tall. I had installed the UPS in the cabinet a while ago.
I had to change the connector from a heavy duty lockable connector for standard computer rooms to a normal heavy duty 120v connector of the prong configuration found in most homes.
I have tested the UPS and it works fine, now when we have a brief hit or spike my systems and routers will withstand that without having to reboot or re-sync the music server software.
For a long outage this will at least allow a graceful shutdown but I haven’t had a lengthy power outage in several years that I can remember.
Well let the beats commence to kicking out the various flavors as I start on the rest of the computer room. More on the move on my main site blog: http://www.dhoytt.com/mainblog/ .
